SNOWFLAKE AND BLIZZARD ARE INSEPARABLE AND NEED TO STAY THAT WAY! Here's their love story .... back in October, Snowflake and Blizzard were strays who peaceably hopped into the back seat of a police car for a ride to the city high kill shelter. Snowflake is 3 years old, about 55 lbs., and probably had a litter or two along the way, but her figure is bouncing back rapidly. She walks great on leash, and is very friendly with people. Blizzard, 3 yrs-old and approx 45 lbs, was a bit shy when he first arrived but he's become very friendly. He walks well on leash and, like Snowflake, is housetrained. Mostly American Pitbull Terrier and Bulldog, Snowflake and Blizzard captured the hearts of shelter staff and volunteers. They looked for each other every time they were taken out and it was obvious they love each other very much. This pair was put on the euthanasia list but saved in the nick of time. After being through so much together, they really need to remain together in their forever home for the rest of their lives.
Snowflake and Blizzard need an experienced dog owner who will give them the exercise, discipline and attention that these lovely dogs require. Although they love each other, they need a home without other dogs and cats. Both are all-white and are neutered/spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped, AND HOUSEBROKEN!
